Make Auto yours.
- Open Mio on your Mac or Windows computer.
- Choose My instruction → Auto → Save my instruction.
- Select your words and press your shortcut as usual.
Save once. All your connected computers use it. You can edit the Auto instruction, choose another style, or write your own whenever you like.
What does Auto use as context?
Only the words you select. Auto does not read the surrounding conversation, your inbox, or previous messages. Select the whole message when you want it to understand more. If the context is unclear, it makes light edits and keeps the original tone.
Will it change what I mean?
Auto is instructed to preserve your meaning, feelings, facts, names, numbers, dates, uncertainty and commitments. It should not invent details or force a friendly tone. AI can still make mistakes: review the result before sending. Mio does not send messages for you.
What happens to private details?
Auto uses Mio’s existing protection: detected private details are replaced with labels before the rewrite and restored afterward. Detection can miss details. Auto does not add conversation memory or broader access to your apps. Read about privacy →
I don’t see Auto in my app yet.
Update to Mio 0.1.24 or later. You can also open My instruction, type Auto and save. This works in earlier versions with an instruction editor, too. Your current instruction stays active until you save a change.
